In the winter period the surrounding mountains benefit from a good covering of snow and thus there are some excellent local ski resorts only 30-40 minutes drive from Residenza Del Lago Azure. These include:- Bobbio & Valtorta, Pian delle Betulle, Valsassina, and Giumello & Paglio - these resorts provide a number of activities including downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding etc.
